You know how some little girls dream about their wedding dress? I met a 5 year old who recently told me she had the best dream ever... because she was swimming in maggi noodles.
And she's right - maggi is a miracle food. It's the only thing that kept Sid and I alive when we were in Iceland. Long story short, we thought our hotel came with a kitchenette, a common kitchen area, or at the very least staff that could point us in the direction of any form of nutrition. Instead we stumbled into the hotel 2 hours late because we didn't have the right directions and quickly realized that we were going to have to MacGyver this with a couple mugs and hot water from a coffee machine in the common area. Our maggi sucked but we live to spread the gospel of maggi's miracle powers. (Note: The long version of this story includes a lot of Sidra complaining about this meal).
One of maggi's power is to magically make instant food taste better. So for this recipe grab some maggi masala, butter/oil, and popcorn (in a bag or kernels)

1. Pop your corn! Either on the stove or in the microwave.
2. Melt your butter or pour out 2tbs oil

3. Mix your butter/oil with one packet of masala

4. Mix the masala + butter/oil with your popcorn

Enjoy!

Our thoughts on the recipe:
Ekta: 10/10 - I'd definitely make this again with no changes. it's the perfect salty snack that makes you think of your childhood. It also takes 2 minutes to make from start to finish. I'd also be interested in combos like cheddar + maggi masala or maggie + sriracha.
Sidra: 5/10 - In defense of this recipe, I maybe made too much popcorn and didn't have enough maggi seasoning. I feel like I didn't really taste anything other than the popcorn? I ended up giving the popcorn to my dad and making a bowl of maggie noodles instead. I'd make it again and try increasing either the amount of seasoning packets, or using less popcorn.
