Although the days are starting to blur, Covid cases are rising and the 5PM sunsets aren't helping- It's the weekend, baby! Here are the highs and lows from our week.

Ekta

  1. It was finally cold enough to use our fire pit!

  2. I'm absolutely in love with the white chocolate and peppermint pretzel crisps from costco/snack factory. They're currently on sale... and I'm on my second bag

  3. I've been going through my old notes, files, and books from elementary school. Man was 2003 Ekta cRaZy, smart and sweet. I'm so thankful that my mom saved all of our work and that my parents supported us in all of the crazy things we tried out in school.

  4. Covid cases are rising and NYC schools were shut down but.... Houston is still as open as before. I'm a little worried that thing are going to spike like crazy with the holidays coming up.

  5. I have 0 motivation to go back to the gym. Being home and the inability to go anywhere has really put a damper on any gymming desires. Here's to finding a personal trainer in 2021 and starting a new fitness journey.

Sidra

1. All the leaves are gone.

This Monday I woke up and it was 20 degrees, all of the leaves have fallen off of the trees, and winter is very much on the way.

2. They've added a new color to the Covid case map... and Wisconsin is very much in it.

The addition of purple to the Covid map is very sad. Wisconsin cases are out of control with no end in sight. Please stay home and wear a mask when you have to leave.

3. I've started all of my Christmas knitting

Since I'm stuck at home (see Friday Thing #2), I have been watching a lot more tv, which means I'm also doing a lot more knitting to make that tv time feel more productive?

4. The Christmas movies are here!

I have a strong no Christmas movies before Thanksgiving rule, but that rule doesn't mean I can't plan out my Christmas movie watch. I've started a Google Doc, and with the new round of lockdowns I have a lot of time to get through the classics.

5. It's Thanksgiving time!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, and while it will feel very different for all of us this year, I am still excited that we're entering the holiday season. (And the week of vacation I have next week doesn't hurt either).
